Abstract

The paper explores methodological issues concerning the application of the paradigm of the description of national communicative behaviour developed by I. A. Sternin and the Voronezh school of communicative linguistics in the teaching of the Russian language in another Slavic (Serbian) speech and sociocultural environment, such as defining methodological relevance of identities, similarities and differences between the confronted communicative cultures and singling out principles and methodological procedures of presenting information about Russian national communicative behaviour in comparison with Serbian (or any other Slavic language).
